It is the first time I saw the Japanese method of garbage disposal. In Malaysia, garbage is gathered at a landfill and buried underground. It is not convenient since plastic takes a long time to dispose.
There is also not enough space to support huge amounts of rubbish, which leads to water, air, and soil pollution that affects the human life source. In Japan, it amazed me how garbage disposal companies could generate electric at the same time as processing garbage.
The air resulting from the burning is also very clean. From this tour I learned that if we use technology wisely, we can get more benefits.

Fujikura Automotive Asia Ltd. is a worldwide leading electronic part producing company. In Yamagata Prefecture, they use aluminum to produce light weight wires for auto parts and other products.
The auto parts procedure starts from drawing out the material into smaller diameter wires and twining them together. Then they coat the wires. After that, they connect the heads into wires to make them ready to be connected to other parts.
Finally, they assemble each customized product. As I am interested in drawing out materials and auto parts, I found this local business tour very helpful for my further studies.
